Oregano is often used as a dried herb for cooking and flavoring various dishes. Oregano oil when extracted from the oregano plant, can produce so many health benefits. The oregano plant contains carvacrol which is the main factor in battling various illnesses.

1.Prevents and cures yeast infections

It can effectively reduce the amount of Candida yeast in the mouth and body. Add 1-2 drops to a glass of water

2.Treats dandruff

Add a few drops into your favorite shampoo to relieve dandruff and other scalp irritations. Use daily by adding a few drops of oregano oil along with a carrier oil

3.Relieves muscle aches

Dilute the oregano with a carrier oil and gently massage on to the affected area.

4.Regulate blood sugar levels

As always consult with your doctor before adding anything any essential oils to your regime. Oregano oil has the ability to lower blood sugar levels. Add 1-2 drops to a glass of water. Take daily

5. Cleaning

Oregano oil can eliminate many forms of bacteria. Add 5-10 drops to a spray bottle along with diluted water and use to clean surfaces such as counter tops.

Oregano oil has antiviral and antibacterial properties that allows it to reduce the amount of mucus and relieve other symptoms of bronchitis. Add 1-2 drops to water and take once daily until symptoms are relieved.

Similar to bronchitis. Oregano oil can also relieve symptoms of the common cold. Especially if taken at the first sign of a cold. Add 1-2 drops to a glass of water

9.Treats toe nail fungus

Dilute the oregano oil and apply directed to the affected toe nail until all symptoms have been resolved.

10. Anti cancer

Oregano oil has the ability to inhibit cancer cell growth. Talk with your doctor prior to taking to determine if it would benefit you.

11. Stomach irritations

I can attest personally that I always have oregano oil on had for all of the uses listed but most importantly, I use oregano oil for my family and myself at the slightest sign of stomach upset. I have used this countless times to relieve symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting and experienced almost instant relief.
